The goal and purpose of ministries within the Church is to build up the body of Christ as seen in Ephesians 4:12…to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ”. Below are the ministries at RCCG Solutions Assembly, Newcastle.

We are a community of excellent men committed to empowering one another to become exemplary fathers, husbands, and sons in a society that often suggests otherwise. Our ministry provides guidance and support to help men fulfil their God-given roles in every aspect of life.

Women’s Fellowship

Daughters of Zion

Daughters of Zion is the sisters’ group of the RCCG Solution Assembly. It comprises all sisters in the church, married, Single, old, and young. We aim to build strong women, wives, and mothers, to support the cause of Christ in the home, the community, and the society at large.

Teenager’s Department

The catalyst class

We have a variety of activities which we participate in, like bible discussions; teens Sunday Service where the teenagers lead every aspect of their service including preaching, teens Sleep Overs; where the teens discuss biblical scenarios, play games and watch movies overnight at the church; monthly prayer meetings; where the teens lead prayers for themselves, and the teens yearly summer conference; where we invite other churches to fellowship with us and then go on outings. The Teens are encouraged to express themselves in a Godly manner and have form teens departments like the Teens Choir, Drama, Ushering Department and a whole lot more.

Children’s Department

Nurturing Young Hearts

In our children’s department, we aim to reflect Christ’s love to our youngest members. We strive to create a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming atmosphere where our children can learn about God’s love. We have four age-appropriate classes:

Choir and Instrumentalist

Harmonizing Hearts in Worship

The Solution Assembly Voices comprise dedicated members passionate about praising and worshiping God through their beautiful voices and musical talents. Our choir rehearses on Saturdays to prepare songs that minister to the congregation, encouraging them in their walk with Christ and lifting the name of the Lord. You are invited to join us in worship, as it is a vital aspect of the Christian faith.

Ushering DEPARTMENT

Welcoming Hearts

The Ushering Department’s mission is to warmly welcome members of the congregation, creating a comfortable and loving atmosphere for
fellowship. Ushers are known for their punctuality and attentiveness during church meetings. Our ministry seeks to bring order to the
house of God, serving church members and the pastoral team to ensure the smooth flow of church gatherings.

Sunday School Department

Nurturing Discipleship

Our Sunday School Department consists of dedicated educators and learners of all ages who gather to explore and deepen their faith. Comprising individuals from diverse backgrounds, we are committed to the study of God’s Word, spiritual growth, and personal development. Through weekly classes, preparatory sessions, and intercessory prayers, we aim to disciple our students, encouraging them to live Christ-like lives and fostering a vibrant relationship with God.

Prayer DEPARTMENT

Intercessors of Faith

We are a group of intercessors dedicated to lifting our pastor and church leaders in prayer, setting captives free from spiritual bondage, and interceding for families, communities, nations, and the world. We also attend to personal prayer requests from both members and non-members of the church. Our mission is to maintain a consistent prayer life and live in holiness

Evangelism DEPARTMENT

Sharing God's Love

Our Evangelism Department is a diverse group of dedicated individuals who passionately spread the message of God’s love. Committed to
outreach and sharing the Gospel, we are church members who actively engage in various evangelistic activities within our community
and beyond. Through door-to-door visits, street evangelism, and community events, we aim to bring the hope and message of salvation to
those who have yet to experience God’s grace. We run a weekly evangelism outreach on the streets of Newcastle and are always excited
for new additions.

Welfare Department

Extending Christ's Love

The welfare department’s focus is to fulfil the requirement of giving support to those who are in need. This support could be in form of giving out household items and food parcels in a bid to extend the love of Christ not only to the members of our church but also to serve our local community. Indeed, we take it very seriously that we are our brother’s keeper! We open our doors to people every first Saturday, once in every 2 months.

Follow-up Department

Our Follow-up Department is comprised of caring individuals who extend a warm embrace to newcomers and visitors in our church. We are a dedicated team committed to ensuring that every person who steps through our doors feels valued and connected. Through personalised communication, visits, and support, we help newcomers integrate into our church community, answer their questions, and guide them on their spiritual journey.

Hospitality DEPARTMENT

Warm Welcomes and Open Hearts

Our Hospitality department is a dedicated group of individuals who embody the spirit of hospitality. Comprised of friendly and welcoming
members, we ensure that everyone who walks through our church doors feels valued and at home. From greeting newcomers to
assisting during events and providing refreshments, we create an atmosphere of warmth and inclusion, making everyone’s experience
in our church a memorable and inviting one.

Technical DEPARTMENT

Behind-the-Scenes Excellence

Our Technical Department is a skilled team of tech-savvy individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure seamless church
operations. As such, we are the RCCGSA Technical and Media Unit, and our key functions include: Photography, Videography,
Audio and Sound Management, Projection of Lyrics and Scriptures, Streaming of our services and other major programmes on
platforms such as YouTube and Facebook, as well as maintaining and running our Facebook and Instagram pages.

We are a group of individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences, and it is our vision to exhibit excellence in all that we do, as we strive to achieve our goals through our creativity and innovation, with the help of God. Our mission is to create an atmosphere where the message of God can be heard and seen clearly, enhancing the true worship experience for everyone.

Drama DEPARTMENT

Our Drama department is a talented group of Christian actors and creatives who use their gifts to convey powerful messages. Comprising
passionate performers of all ages, we breathe life into stories that inspire, challenge, and ministers. Through compelling dramas and
skits, we share God’s love, teach valuable lessons, and engage our congregation in thought-provoking narratives that deepen their
faith.
